Bastian Schweinsteiger will start his first
match at Euro 2016 after being passed fit for
Germany's semi-final clash with France.
The Manchester United midfielder replaces Sami
Khedira in midfield, with Julian Draxler and
Emre Can also coming into the starting XI.
Mario Gomez and Mats Hummels join Khedira on
the sidelines, with the former out of the
tournament through injury while the new
Bayern Munich defender is suspended.
Hosts France, meanwhile, are unchanged from
their 5-2 win over Iceland, meaning Moussa
Sissoko and Samuel Umtiti retain their places in
Didier Deschamps's team.
N'Golo Kante and Adil Rami both must be
content with places on the bench after missing
the last-eight clash through suspension.
Germany XI: Neuer; Kimmich, Howedes,
Boateng, Hector; Can, Schweinsteiger, Kroos;
Draxler, Ozil, Muller.
France XI: Lloris; Sagna, Koscielny, Umtiti,
Evra; Matuidi, Pogba; Payet, Griezmann,
Sissoko; Giroud.
